According to the 2025 Bigfoot Forestry Franchise Disclosure Document, the brand's registered marks have registration numbers 7149001 and 7149079. Both marks were registered on August 29, 2023. These marks are owned by Atlantic Soul Capital Ventures, LLC (ASCV), an affiliate of Bigfoot Forestry, and are licensed to Bigfoot Forestry for use in its franchise system.

Bigfoot Forestry has the right to sublicense these marks to its franchisees. The Intellectual Property License Agreement between ASCV and Bigfoot Forestry automatically renews annually, but ASCV can terminate it if Bigfoot Forestry declares bankruptcy, breaches quality control standards without rectifying it within 60 days, or consents to the termination. However, even if the License Agreement is terminated, the sublicense granted to franchisees will remain in effect until the franchise agreement expires or is terminated.

Additionally, Bigfoot Forestry is not aware of any infringing uses that could materially affect a franchisee's use of the marks.
