Does Bigfoot Forestry provide an initial training program before I open my Bigfoot Forestry business?

We will provide an initial training program for your Managing Owner and Project Manager (if applicable). You may send other owners and employees to initial training but it is not required. Your Managing Owner and Project Manager (if applicable) must successfully complete initial training to our satisfaction within 60 days after signing the Franchise Agreement (and before your Business opens).
The initial training program includes approximately 5 days of training at our corporate headquarters in Rock Hill, South Carolina or another location we designate. You may also request that we provide additional onsite training in your territory, although onsite training is not part of our standard training program.
The format for training may include lectures, interactive role playing, conference calls and/or webinars. We reserve the right to conduct all (or any portion) of the training program remotely via webinar, conference call or similar means. The training materials consist of the Manual, digital training materials and related workbooks. We do not charge you for any of our training materials.

What This Means (2025 FDD)
According to Bigfoot Forestry's 2025 Franchise Disclosure Document, initial training is provided for the Managing Owner and Project Manager (if applicable). The Managing Owner and Project Manager must successfully complete the training to the franchisor's satisfaction within 60 days of signing the Franchise Agreement and before opening the business. While other owners and employees can attend, it is not mandatory for them.
The initial training program lasts approximately 5 days and takes place at Bigfoot Forestry's corporate headquarters in Rock Hill, South Carolina, or another designated location. The FDD also mentions that the training program can be modified at Bigfoot Forestry's discretion based on their assessment of the skills, abilities, and prior experience of the Managing Owner and Project Manager.
