Bigfoot_Forestry Franchise · 2025 FDDAnswer from 2025 FDD Document
You will need between 300 and 450 square feet of storage space (with a height of at least 15 feet) to store your equipment and tools. If you store your vehicle with your equipment, the space must be approximately 45 feet long, 10 feet wide and 15 feet high. If you do not store your vehicle with your equipment, then the space must be approximately 30 feet long, 10 feet wide and 15 feet high. You may store your tools and equipment at your home if you have sufficient space. Otherwise, you may need to lease storage space. If you lease storage space, we must approve the storage facility. The storage facility does not need to be located in your territory. We will approve or disapprove your proposed storage facility within 15 days after you send us photos, dimensions and any additional information we request.
You must confirm you have adequate storage space before the Equipment Package will be delivered. If you fail to secure suitable storage space within 120 days after signing the Franchise Agreement, we may terminate your franchise.

What This Means (2025 FDD)
According to the 2025 Bigfoot Forestry FDD, if a franchisee needs to lease storage space for their equipment and tools, Bigfoot Forestry must approve the storage facility. The FDD states that Bigfoot Forestry will approve or disapprove a proposed storage facility within 15 days after receiving photos, dimensions, and any additional requested information from the franchisee.
This approval process is important because franchisees must have adequate storage space before receiving their Equipment Package. The FDD also states that if a franchisee fails to secure suitable storage space within 120 days of signing the Franchise Agreement, Bigfoot Forestry may terminate the franchise agreement.
This requirement ensures that franchisees have a suitable location for storing equipment, which is essential for operating the Bigfoot Forestry business. The 15-day approval timeframe provides a reasonable period for Bigfoot Forestry to review the proposed storage facility while also allowing the franchisee to move forward with setting up their business in a timely manner.
