What This Means (2025 FDD)

According to Bigfoot Forestry's 2025 Franchise Disclosure Document, the initial franchise fee is paid as part of a development fee when signing an Area Development Agreement. The development fee is the total of all initial franchise fees for the Bigfoot Forestry Businesses that the franchisee is required to develop under the agreement. This fee is considered fully earned and nonrefundable once the agreement is executed.

The initial franchise fee varies depending on the number of franchises purchased. The fee for the first franchise is $49,900, but is reduced to $47,400 for veterans. The second franchise costs $44,900, and the third (and any additional) franchises cost $39,900 each.

Prospective franchisees should note that they cannot begin providing Bigfoot Forestry Services in a specific franchised territory until a Franchise Agreement is signed for that territory. The franchisee must also develop, open, and operate each Bigfoot Forestry Business in accordance with both the Franchise Agreement and the company's Manual. This ensures that all franchisees adhere to Bigfoot Forestry's standards and procedures.

Furthermore, the franchisee must sign the Initial Franchise Agreement for their first Bigfoot Forestry Business when they sign the Area Development Agreement. The terms of subsequent Franchise Agreements may differ significantly from the initial agreement. However, the initial franchise fee for each agreement will be determined according to the table provided in Attachment A.
