What This Means (2025 FDD)

According to Bigfoot Forestry's 2025 Franchise Disclosure Document, Part A of Attachment A to the Area Development Agreement includes a complete and accurate list of the owners of the Developer Entity. The Developer Entity is the entity that signs the Area Development Agreement as the area developer or assumes the agreement after its initial execution.

This requirement ensures that Bigfoot Forestry knows who the principals are behind the area development. The franchisor needs to verify the individuals or entities responsible for fulfilling the development obligations outlined in the agreement.

Furthermore, Bigfoot Forestry may request a resolution from the Developer Entity authorizing the execution of the Area Development Agreement, along with copies of the entity's organizational documents and a current Certificate of Good Standing. This allows Bigfoot Forestry to confirm the legal standing and authorization of the entity entering into the agreement.
