What This Means (2025 FDD)
According to Bigfoot Forestry's 2025 Franchise Disclosure Document, the franchisor emphasizes the importance of adhering to their standards and operating procedures for maintaining the System's reputation and goodwill. If a franchisee is notified of a breach, which includes failing to submit required reports on time, they will be given a period to correct the issue.
If the franchisee fails to cure the breach within the prescribed time, Bigfoot Forestry has the right to impose a noncompliance fee of $500 for each occurrence. Furthermore, if the same noncompliance issue persists after the initial fee, an additional fee of $100 may be imposed every 48 hours until the issue is resolved.
In addition to these monetary penalties, Bigfoot Forestry retains other remedies available under the Franchise Agreement for breaches of standards and operating procedures. This could potentially include further actions or consequences as outlined in the agreement, depending on the severity and nature of the breach.
