What This Means (2025 FDD)

According to the 2025 Bigfoot Forestry Franchise Disclosure Document, franchisees are responsible for all expenses associated with acquiring, licensing, utilizing, updating, and upgrading their Technology Systems. Some Technology Systems may require direct purchase or licensing from third-party suppliers. Bigfoot Forestry, or an affiliate, may also develop proprietary Technology Systems, requiring franchisees to pay commercially reasonable licensing, support, and maintenance fees, and to sign a license agreement for these proprietary systems.

Bigfoot Forestry may enter into master agreements with licensors of Third-Party Technology and then charge franchisees for their use of this technology, based on the amounts Bigfoot Forestry pays to the licensors. Franchisees may also be charged a technology fee that covers all costs related to Technology Systems, including proprietary items and amounts remitted to third-party suppliers. This technology fee is subject to change depending on adjustments to the Technology Systems or changes in prices charged by third parties with whom Bigfoot Forestry has master agreements.

Bigfoot Forestry also provides franchisees with a certain number of BIGFOOT FORESTRY® email addresses at no additional charge, but may charge a fee for any additional email addresses requested. Franchisees are required to use these email addresses exclusively for all communications related to their Bigfoot Forestry Business with Bigfoot Forestry, customers, suppliers, and other relevant parties. The email addresses and accounts remain the property of Bigfoot Forestry, but franchisees are allowed to use them during the term of their Franchise Agreement.
