What This Means (2025 FDD)
According to the 2025 Bigfoot Forestry Franchise Disclosure Document, the franchisee is responsible for acquiring and installing all required Technology Systems as part of their pre-opening obligations. The Technology Systems include all information and communication technology systems that Bigfoot Forestry specifies, such as computer systems, point-of-sale systems, telecommunications systems, order dispatch systems, and security systems. These systems also include associated hardware, software (including cloud-based software), related equipment, software applications, mobile apps, and third-party services for the establishment, use, maintenance, monitoring, security, or improvement of these systems.
This means that a prospective Bigfoot Forestry franchisee must be prepared to invest in and manage various technology systems necessary for running the business. This encompasses not only the initial setup but also the ongoing maintenance, monitoring, and potential upgrades of these systems. The franchisee needs to ensure that these systems are properly integrated and functioning to meet Bigfoot Forestry's standards.
It is important for potential franchisees to understand the full scope of these technology requirements, including the costs associated with purchasing, installing, and maintaining these systems. They should also inquire about the specific technology systems that are mandated by Bigfoot Forestry and any approved vendors or providers for these systems. Understanding these obligations is crucial for budgeting and operational planning.
