What This Means (2025 FDD)

According to the 2025 Bigfoot Forestry Franchise Disclosure Document, franchisees are restricted from directly contracting with National Account customers or providing Bigfoot Forestry services to job sites owned by National Account customers without prior approval from Bigfoot Franchising, LLC. A "National Account" is defined as any Governmental Authority or commercial property owner that requests Bigfoot Forestry Services involving job sites located within multiple markets, at least one of which is located outside of the franchisee's Territory. Bigfoot Forestry retains the exclusive right to enter into contracts with National Account customers.

This policy is in place due to the unique issues and operational complexities associated with managing and servicing National Account customers. This means that if a franchisee receives an inquiry from a National Account, they must first seek and obtain approval from Bigfoot Forestry before engaging in any contractual agreements or providing services.

This restriction does not prevent Bigfoot Forestry from authorizing other franchisees to provide Bigfoot Forestry Services at job sites within a franchisee's territory for National Account customers. This ensures that Bigfoot Forestry maintains control over National Account relationships and can coordinate services across different territories, while also potentially leveraging its franchisees to fulfill those service obligations.
