What This Means (2025 FDD)
According to Bigfoot Forestry's 2025 Franchise Disclosure Document, franchisees are responsible for all fees, costs, and expenses associated with acquiring, licensing, utilizing, updating, and upgrading technology systems. These systems may need to be purchased or licensed from third-party suppliers. Bigfoot Forestry, or its affiliate, may develop proprietary technology systems, requiring franchisees to pay commercially reasonable licensing, support, and maintenance fees, and to sign a license agreement.
Bigfoot Forestry may enter into master agreements with licensors of third-party technology and charge franchisees for their use of this technology. Additionally, Bigfoot Forestry may charge a technology fee that includes amounts paid for proprietary items and amounts remitted to suppliers of third-party technology. This technology fee is subject to change based on modifications to the technology systems or price changes implemented by third parties with whom Bigfoot Forestry has master agreements.
Bigfoot Forestry will provide a certain number of email addresses at no additional charge, but may charge a fee for each additional email address requested, which is added to the technology fee. Franchisees must exclusively use these email addresses for all communications related to their Bigfoot Forestry business. Franchisees are required to set up their office and acquire and install all required Technology Systems before opening their business.
