What This Means (2025 FDD)
According to the 2025 Bigfoot Forestry Franchise Disclosure Document, by signing the Franchisee Disclosure Questionnaire, a prospective franchisee is representing that they have carefully considered each question in the questionnaire and responded truthfully. Bigfoot Forestry indicates that the applicant's answers are important and that the company will rely on them.
The Franchisee Disclosure Questionnaire is used by Bigfoot Forestry to determine whether its franchise sales team followed proper procedures and to gain assurance that the franchisee had adequate opportunity to review the Franchise Disclosure Document (FDD), consult with advisors, and ask questions before signing the Franchise Agreement.
It is important to note that the Franchisee Disclosure Questionnaire may not be signed or used if the franchisee resides within, or the franchised business will be located within, a franchise registration state. Furthermore, the questionnaire cannot be signed or dated on the same day as the Receipt for the Franchise Disclosure Document, but it must be signed and dated on the same day the Franchise Agreement is signed and the franchise fee is paid. This timing is designed to ensure the franchisee has had sufficient time to review all documents and seek advice before committing to the franchise.
