Ongoing Training
We may offer periodic refresher or supplemental training courses for your Managing Owner, Project Manager (if applicable) and other management personnel. We may designate each course as mandatory or optional. Any new Managing Owner or Project Manager you appoint or hire must successfully complete initial training prior to managing your Business. If we determine you are not operating in compliance with the Franchise Agreement or Manual, we may require that your Managing Owner, Project Manager (if applicable) and other management personnel attend remedial training relevant to your operational deficiencies. You may also request additional training, which we may (but need not) provide.

What This Means (2025 FDD)
Based on the 2025 Franchise Disclosure Document, the specific location where Bigfoot Forestry conducts its classroom training for franchisees is not explicitly detailed. The FDD does mention that franchisees will receive an initial training program and that periodic refresher or supplemental training courses may be offered. However, the document does not specify whether the training is conducted at Bigfoot Forestry's headquarters, a designated training facility, or another location.
Without specific information on the training location, prospective franchisees should inquire directly with Bigfoot Forestry about where the training programs are held. Understanding the training location is crucial for logistical planning, including travel arrangements and associated costs. Knowing whether training is held at a central location or potentially offered regionally can also influence a franchisee's overall experience and convenience.
While the FDD does not provide the exact location, it does list the current instructors for the training program: Ben Bartnikowski, Phillip Gillian, and Carrie Hoff. Ben Bartnikowski, the founder of Bigfoot Forestry and CEO since July 2022, is in charge of the training program. Phillip Gillian serves as the Director of Field Operations, and Carrie Hoff is the Chief Financial Officer. These individuals may recruit other instructors with at least 5 years of experience in the relevant field to assist with the training program.
