What This Means (2025 FDD)

According to the 2025 Big O Tires Franchise Disclosure Document, franchisees have the option to create their own advertising and promotional materials. However, any advertising, materials, and promotions created by or on behalf of the franchisee must be approved by Big O Tires before they are used and must comply with the company's standards.

Unauthorized use of fonts, images, or talent in these materials may expose the franchisee to liability. This liability includes, but is not limited to, copyright infringement claims and associated legal expenses. This means a franchisee could face lawsuits and financial penalties for using copyrighted material without permission.

This requirement ensures that all advertising and promotional efforts align with the Big O Tires brand standards and comply with legal regulations, protecting both the franchisee and the franchisor from potential legal issues. Franchisees should be diligent in obtaining approval for all advertising materials to avoid potential copyright issues and legal expenses.
