What This Means (2025 FDD)
According to Big O Tires's 2025 Franchise Disclosure Document, the most recent revision of the operating manual issued by Big O Tires will control in the event of a dispute about its contents. The manual contains the standards and specifications for operating a Big O Tires store.
The manual is designed to protect Big O Tires's reputation and the goodwill of its licensed marks. It is not designed to control the day-to-day operations of a Big O Tires store. Big O Tires may modify the manual periodically to reflect changes in authorized products and services, standards or service quality, and the operations of Big O Tires stores.
It is the franchisee's responsibility to maintain an updated manual, or if provided electronically, to regularly check for updates and maintain compliance with the current manual. This places the onus on the franchisee to stay informed of any changes and ensure their store operations align with the latest standards set by Big O Tires. This also means that Big O Tires has the final say on what the standards are.
