When you sign the Franchise Agreement, we will grant you online access to the Manual. Included in the Manual is a list of our approved suppliers. We have the right to change the standards and specifications included in the Manual, including the list of approved suppliers. You must comply with all standards and changes which are deemed, by their terms, to be mandatory; provided that the changes are applied in a reasonable and nondiscriminatory manner among comparable Big O franchisees.

What This Means (2025 FDD)
According to Big O Tires's 2025 Franchise Disclosure Document, a list of approved suppliers is included in the Manual. Upon signing the Franchise Agreement, franchisees are granted online access to this Manual. Big O Tires retains the right to change the standards, specifications, and the list of approved suppliers included in the Manual. Franchisees must comply with all mandatory standards and changes, provided they are applied reasonably and without discrimination among comparable Big O Tires franchisees.
If a franchisee wishes to use a supplier not already approved and listed in the Manual, they must obtain written approval from Big O Tires. The franchisee needs to submit a written request, providing evidence of the need for the products or services and ensuring that the products do not conflict with existing marketing program products. The supplier must demonstrate its ability to meet Big O Tires's standards and specifications on a timely basis, prove its financial stability and good standing in the business community, and agree to indemnify and hold harmless both the franchisee and Big O Tires against any claims or liabilities related to its products or services. Additionally, suppliers of tire products must meet the requirements under the TREAD Act.
Big O Tires will notify the franchisee of the approval or disapproval in writing within 90 days after receiving all necessary information. Failure to provide notice within this period results in automatic disapproval. Big O Tires reserves the right to withhold approval at its sole discretion, particularly if the product conflicts with existing marketing programs or cannot be adequately warranted and serviced by other franchisees. The approval of a supplier can also be revoked at any time, with notification provided to the franchisee if they are using the supplier in question.
Big O Tires also benefits financially from franchisee purchases through approved suppliers. They derive revenue on a percentage basis, ranging from 1% to 10% of the purchase price, which may vary based on the combined annual purchase volume of all franchisees or through negotiations with vendors. This arrangement incentivizes the use of approved suppliers, as Big O Tires shares in the financial benefits of these relationships.
