What This Means (2025 FDD)
According to Big Blue Swim School's 2025 Franchise Disclosure Document, a Member Services Center (MSC) may be established to support franchisees. While Big Blue Swim School does not currently operate an MSC or charge a fee for it, they retain the right to implement one in the future. If established, all Big Blue Swim School locations would be required to utilize the MSC.
The MSC could provide several services to both franchisees and their customers. These services include scheduling free trial lessons, reserving lesson times, and helping to resolve customer complaints and concerns. The MSC might also maintain a customer database, which would then provide management reports to the franchisees, giving them insights into their customer base and business operations.
If implemented, Big Blue Swim School has the right to charge a Member Services Center Fee (MSC Fee) of up to 2% of the School’s Gross Revenue during each Calculation Period. This fee would be due within a certain number of days after the end of each Calculation Period. Currently, this fee is not charged, but the franchise agreement stipulates that it could be in the future if the MSC is developed.
