What This Means (2025 FDD)

According to the 2025 Big Blue Swim School FDD, if the initial Managing Owner cannot satisfactorily complete the required training, Big Blue Swim School has the right to require the franchisee to designate a Replacement Managing Owner. This Replacement Managing Owner must then attend and satisfactorily complete the Initial Training program.

This requirement ensures that each Big Blue Swim School location has a competent manager who meets the franchisor's standards. The franchisee bears the responsibility of ensuring the Replacement Managing Owner completes the training to Big Blue Swim School's satisfaction.

For a prospective franchisee, this means being prepared to identify and train a new Managing Owner if the first choice does not meet the training standards. This could involve additional costs for training the replacement and potential delays in the school's opening if the initial manager is deemed unfit and a replacement is needed.
