What This Means (2025 FDD)
According to Big Blue Swim School's 2025 Franchise Disclosure Document, Big Blue Swim School will pay the wages, travel, hotel, and living expenses for their opening team. This team is sent to the new Big Blue Swim School location for at least three days, typically around the opening, to train supervisory employees on the Big Blue Swim School's philosophy and brand standards, and to help prepare the school for its opening.
However, if the franchisee requests additional or special guidance, assistance, or training during this opening phase, and Big Blue Swim School agrees to provide it, the franchisee must pay a training fee. This fee will not exceed $750 per trainer per day, and it also includes the trainer's daily charges, such as wages, travel, hotel, and living expenses.
