What This Means (2025 FDD)
According to Big Air Trampoline Park's 2025 Franchise Disclosure Document, the franchisor has the exclusive right to determine the boundaries of a franchisee's territory at its sole discretion. For a single unit franchise, this territory is defined by Big Air Trampoline Park based on factors such as demographics, population density, average household income, natural boundaries, competition, and the size of urban, suburban, and rural areas.
The FDD states that Big Air Trampoline Park aims to grant only one license per 200,000 people in a designated geographical location, using data from the U.S. Census Bureau or other statistical sources. In most cases, the territory will not exceed a 15-mile radius from the Big Air Trampoline Park facility's front door, but this can vary depending on population density, with smaller radii in metropolitan areas and larger radii in rural areas. Once the radius is determined, the franchisee will be assigned the zip codes that lie within that radius for marketing purposes.
It is important to note that the territory granted to a Big Air Trampoline Park franchisee is not exclusive. Franchisees may face competition from other franchisees, company-owned outlets, or other channels of distribution. Big Air Trampoline Park also reserves the right to change, modify, or delete the Population Limit at its sole discretion. Once the territory is established, Big Air Trampoline Park cannot change or modify it under any circumstances.
