*or a Big Air Trampoline Park location of our choosing
The initial training program and other on-going training will be conducted by training personnel under the direction of Kevin Odekirk and Erin Davis. Mr. Odekirk has nearly 20 years' experience in conceiving, designing and managing training programs and other management tools. Mrs. Davis has been conducting employee training for over 20 years in the area of safety, operations, and compliance. We may change or substitute training personnel as necessary, and we may delegate our duties and share our responsibilities with regard to training. We do not require our training personnel or other employees who assist them to have a certain minimum amount of industry experience or training.
The Operations Manual serves as our primary instructional material during our training program.
We may present seminars, conventions or continuing development programs for the benefit of franchisees. Your attendance is encouraged at regional meetings and mandatory at the annual conventions. You must pay for any conference fee and your travel and living expenses incurred in attending any seminar.
We will also provide on-site, opening assistance, consisting of at least two to three persons, for a minimum period of seven days at your Big Air Trampoline Facility when it opens.
You shall be solely responsible for all employment decisions and functions of the Big Air Trampoline Facility, including, without limitation, those related to hiring, firing, training, establishing remuneration, compliance with wage and hour requirements, personnel policies, benefits, record keeping, supervision, and discipline of employees.

What This Means (2025 FDD)
Based on the 2025 Franchise Disclosure Document, Big Air Trampoline Park's training program focuses on safety, operations, and compliance, but it does not specifically mention training for safe driving. The initial training program lasts up to a week and is typically held at the Ladera Ranch, California location, although Big Air Trampoline Park reserves the right to conduct the training elsewhere or online. Franchisees, or their designated business manager, must complete this training to Big Air Trampoline Park's satisfaction before opening their business. Two additional people may attend the initial training program at no extra charge.
The FDD states that franchisees are responsible for all employment decisions and functions, including training employees. This suggests that franchisees are responsible for providing any training not covered by the initial franchisor program, such as safe driving if it is deemed necessary for their business operations.
While the FDD details the initial training program and the franchisee's responsibilities for employee training, it does not explicitly state whether safe driving training is included. A prospective franchisee should clarify with Big Air Trampoline Park whether safe driving training is part of the standard training program or if it is the franchisee's responsibility to provide it.
