What This Means (2025 FDD)
According to Big Air Trampoline Park's 2025 Franchise Disclosure Document, the 'System' under which the franchise operates encompasses various elements critical to the business format. This system includes the use of the "BIG AIR TRAMPOLINE PARK and LOGO" trademarks, trade names, service marks, and logos. It also incorporates the franchisor's know-how, information, trade secrets, training methods, Operations Manual, standards, designs, methods of trademark usage, copyrights, sources and specifications, confidential electronic and other communications, methods of Internet usage, marketing programs, and research and development. Big Air Trampoline Park retains the right to modify this system at its discretion.
For a prospective franchisee, this means that the Big Air Trampoline Park franchise is not just a brand name, but a comprehensive operational model. Franchisees must adhere to the standards and methods outlined in the Operations Manual and other components of the System. This includes everything from how the trademarks are used to the specific training programs for employees. The initial and ongoing training is provided by Big Air Trampoline Park's parent company, H2O Partners, LLC, covering areas such as Point of Sale operations, facilities management, and employee scheduling.
However, the FDD also states that Big Air Trampoline Park reserves the right to change or modify the System at any time. This implies that franchisees must remain adaptable and willing to implement changes directed by the franchisor. While this allows Big Air Trampoline Park to keep the brand current and competitive, it also introduces a degree of uncertainty for franchisees, who must be prepared to invest in updates or modifications as required. Understanding the scope and potential changes to the System is crucial for anyone considering investing in a Big Air Trampoline Park franchise.
