What This Means (2025 FDD)
According to Bhc's 2025 Franchise Disclosure Document, the failure of the General Manager to complete the Initial Training to Bhc's satisfaction can be grounds for termination of the Franchise Agreement. However, Bhc offers an opportunity to rectify the situation before terminating the agreement.
Specifically, if the General Manager fails to successfully complete the Initial Training, Bhc will offer the opportunity to retake the Initial Training. Alternatively, the franchisee may send a replacement General Manager, approved by Bhc, to the next available Initial Training program.
This clause provides a safety net for franchisees, ensuring that termination is not the immediate consequence of a General Manager's initial failure. It also highlights the importance Bhc places on proper training for the General Manager, as successful completion of the Initial Training is a key factor in maintaining the franchise agreement.
