What This Means (2025 FDD)
According to Bhc's 2025 Franchise Disclosure Document, after the termination, expiration, or non-renewal of the Franchise Agreement, Bhc has the right to direct vendors and suppliers to stop providing inventory and other items to the franchisee.
Specifically, Bhc can instruct vendors to immediately cease providing the franchisee with inventory, supplies, equipment, marketing materials, email access, website access, accessories, and any other items used to provide Bhc products. This action can be taken as soon as practicable after the termination, expiration, or non-renewal of the agreement.
This provision ensures that upon the end of the franchise relationship, the franchisee can no longer operate as a Bhc and does not have access to the resources necessary to do so. This is a standard practice in franchising to protect the brand's integrity and prevent unauthorized use of its resources and trademarks.
