What This Means (2025 FDD)

According to Bhc's 2025 Franchise Disclosure Document, franchisees must advertise, sell, and serve only the products that Bhc authorizes. Additionally, franchisees must purchase and maintain sufficient inventory of these authorized Bhc products to meet consumer demand. Franchisees are also required to purchase and sell ancillary products, such as books, specialty foods, packaged foods, hats, t-shirts, and novelty items, as specified by Bhc periodically for sale at the restaurant.

To maintain consistency and quality, franchisees must adhere to Bhc's established standards, operating procedures, specifications, and rules for operating a franchised restaurant. These standards include specifications for ingredients, brand names, preparation, and presentation. Franchisees are required to purchase all products, including those bearing Bhc's trademarks, exclusively from Bhc or its designated suppliers.

Bhc may revise the lists of approved suppliers and approved supplies, and franchisees will be notified of any changes to prices, delivery terms, or other terms related to the sale of approved supplies with 30 days' notice. Bhc also reserves the right to discontinue the sale of any approved supplies if it deems the continued sale unfeasible, unprofitable, or undesirable. If a franchisee wants to use alternative supplies, they must notify Bhc in writing and submit information for approval, which typically takes 30 days.
