What This Means (2025 FDD)

According to Bhc's 2025 Franchise Disclosure Document, if anything occurs at the BHC Restaurant or in the Development Area that causes or may cause harm or injury to retail customers or Master Franchisee's employees, Subfranchisees, or that may damage the System, Marks, or image or reputation of the Franchised Business or Franchisor or Franchisor's affiliates, Master Franchisee must immediately inform Franchisor's designated contact person by telephone, e-mail, text, or other electronic messaging medium authorized by Franchisor for this purpose.

This means that Bhc designates a specific contact person for the Master Franchisee to communicate with in the event of incidents that may cause harm or injury to customers or employees, or that may damage the System, Marks, or image or reputation of the Franchised Business or Franchisor or Franchisor's affiliates. The communication should be immediate and can be done via telephone, e-mail, text, or other electronic messaging medium authorized by Franchisor for this purpose.

It is important for a prospective Master Franchisee to understand who this designated contact person is and how to reach them in case of an emergency. This ensures that any potential issues are addressed promptly and efficiently, minimizing any negative impact on the business or the brand's reputation. The Master Franchisee must also cooperate fully with Franchisor in any response to an incident.
