What This Means (2025 FDD)
According to Bhc's 2025 Franchise Disclosure Document, Master Franchisees and Subfranchisees are restricted from independently establishing websites or social media for marketing the Bhc franchised business. Specifically, during the term of the agreement, they are required to use the BHC website and other internet or social media platforms only as authorized by Bhc.
This restriction means that franchisees must adhere to Bhc's approved marketing channels and strategies. Any alternative distribution methods or programs, including e-commerce, websites, or telemarketing, require prior written approval from Bhc, which can be granted at Bhc's sole discretion. This ensures that all marketing efforts align with Bhc's brand standards and overall marketing strategy.
This policy helps Bhc maintain brand consistency and control over its online presence. While it limits the franchisee's autonomy in online marketing, it also ensures that all marketing efforts are coordinated and aligned with the overall brand strategy. Franchisees need to be aware that they cannot deviate from the approved online marketing channels without explicit permission from Bhc.
