- (c) Franchisor will provide Master Franchisee with a list of approved manufacturers, suppliers, and distributors ("Approved Suppliers List") and approved inventory products, fixtures, furniture, equipment, signs, stationery, supplies and other items or services necessary to operate the BHC Restaurant ("Approved Supplies List").
The Approved Supplies List may specify a required manufacturer or supplier of a specific product or piece of equipment.
Franchisor reserves the right to designate a required source of supply for certain products and supplies, and Franchisor or an affiliate may be a required source.
The lists also may include other specific products without reference to a particular manufacturer or supplier, or they may set forth the specifications and/or standards for other approved products.
Franchisor may revise the Approved Suppliers List and Approved Supplies List.
Franchisor gives Master Franchisee the approved lists as Franchisor deems advisable.
Franchisor generally does not give these lists to approved suppliers.
Franchisor will provide contact information for Master Franchisee's distributors and/or manufacturers of all products offered at the BHC Restaurant.

What This Means (2025 FDD)
According to Bhc's 2025 Franchise Disclosure Document, Bhc will provide the Master Franchisee with two lists related to suppliers: an "Approved Suppliers List" and an "Approved Supplies List." The Approved Suppliers List includes approved manufacturers, suppliers, and distributors. The Approved Supplies List contains approved inventory products, fixtures, furniture, equipment, signs, stationery, supplies, and other items or services necessary to operate the BHC Restaurant.
These lists may specify a required manufacturer or supplier for a specific product or piece of equipment. Bhc also reserves the right to designate a required source of supply for certain products and supplies, which may include Bhc or its affiliates. The lists might include specific products without naming a particular manufacturer or supplier, or they may outline the specifications and standards for other approved products.
Bhc retains the right to revise both the Approved Suppliers List and the Approved Supplies List as it deems advisable. Additionally, Bhc will provide contact information for the Master Franchisee's distributors and/or manufacturers of all products offered at the BHC Restaurant. However, Bhc generally does not provide these lists directly to the approved suppliers themselves.
If a Master Franchisee wants to use a product, supply, material, furnishing, or equipment not already approved by Bhc, or from a supplier not yet approved, they must seek written approval from Bhc. The Master Franchisee must provide sufficient information, specifications, and samples for Bhc to determine if the item or supplier meets the required standards. Bhc will then provide written approval or disapproval within a reasonable time, typically 30 days. Master Franchisees are not allowed to use any product, supply, material, furnishing, or equipment that Bhc has not approved.
