What This Means (2025 FDD)
According to Bhc's 2025 Franchise Disclosure Document, the initial franchise fee is $40,000. This fee is paid as a lump sum when signing the Master Franchise Agreement (MFA) and is non-refundable.
In addition to the initial franchise fee, Bhc requires an initial deposit of $20,000, also due at the signing of the MFA. However, unlike the franchise fee, this deposit is refundable upon the expiration of the Franchise Agreement.
Prospective franchisees should note that the initial franchise fee is just one component of the overall investment required to start a Bhc franchise. Other fees, such as site design review fees ($2,500), site review fees ($2,000 to $4,000), and architectural design and permitting fees ($15,000 to $30,000), must also be considered. These additional fees are typically non-refundable and are paid to Bhc or approved vendors at different stages of the setup process.
