What This Means (2025 FDD)
According to Bhc's 2025 Franchise Disclosure Document, if a franchisee's general manager does not complete the initial training program to Bhc's satisfaction, it can be grounds for the termination of the franchise agreement. However, Bhc offers two alternatives before terminating the agreement.
First, the general manager who failed the initial training will be given the opportunity to retake the initial training program. This provides a chance for the general manager to improve their understanding and skills to meet Bhc's standards.
Second, the franchisee has the option to send a replacement general manager, who must be approved by Bhc, to the next available initial training program. This allows the franchisee to ensure that a qualified manager is running the franchised business without necessarily terminating the agreement.
