What This Means (2025 FDD)

According to Bhc's 2025 Franchise Disclosure Document, a General Manager is required to devote their entire time during normal business hours to the management, operation, and development of the franchised business. The General Manager must ensure that the franchisee fulfills its obligations to its customers in a timely and professional manner.

Specifically, the FDD states that the General Manager may not engage in any other business that requires their active participation during normal business hours. This requirement ensures that the General Manager is fully dedicated to the Bhc franchise and its operations.

This restriction is typical in franchising, as the General Manager's role is critical to the success of the business. By preventing the General Manager from engaging in other business activities during work hours, Bhc aims to maintain operational standards and customer service levels. This also protects the integrity, reputation, and goodwill of the Bhc system and marks.
