What This Means (2025 FDD)

According to Bhc's 2025 Franchise Disclosure Document, franchisees, affiliate franchisees, and subfranchisees are generally prohibited from establishing links to websites that Bhc establishes. Specifically, they cannot create a link to any Bhc website from any other website or page.

This restriction is part of Bhc's broader control over its online presence and brand identity. Franchisees are also restricted from maintaining their own websites or advertising online in connection with a Master Franchised Bhc Restaurant without permission. They also cannot use the Bhc marks on social media without prior written consent from Bhc. Bhc maintains control over all social media initiatives and can conduct national campaigns via local social media on behalf of the franchisee.

These policies ensure that Bhc maintains a consistent brand image and message across all online platforms. While franchisees might want the flexibility to promote their specific locations through independent websites or social media activities, Bhc prioritizes centralized control. Prospective franchisees should consider these restrictions and discuss with Bhc what approved methods are available for online promotion and marketing at the local level.
