What This Means (2025 FDD)
According to Bhc's 2025 Franchise Disclosure Document, the specifications for the electronic connection that a Master Franchisee must maintain with the Intranet are detailed in the Operations Manual. The Master Franchisee is required to establish and maintain this electronic connection throughout the time the Intranet is operational and until the termination of the Franchise Agreement. This connection enables Bhc to send and receive messages to and from the Master Franchisee, adhering to Bhc's standards and specifications.
This requirement ensures that Bhc can maintain consistent communication with its Master Franchisees. The Intranet facilitates the dissemination of important information, updates to the Operations Manual, and other confidential data. By mandating a continuous electronic connection, Bhc aims to ensure that Master Franchisees are always informed of the latest operational standards and business practices.
For a prospective Master Franchisee, this means they must ensure they have the necessary technical infrastructure to maintain a reliable electronic connection as specified in the Operations Manual. This may involve investing in specific hardware, software, or internet services to meet Bhc's requirements. It is crucial to review the Operations Manual carefully to understand these specifications and ensure compliance to avoid any disruptions in communication or potential breaches of the franchise agreement.
