What This Means (2025 FDD)
The 2025 Bhc Franchise Disclosure Document does not specify when customer payments are due for retail sales at company-operated restaurants. However, the document does state that franchisees must sell to customers at their franchised Bhc restaurant Bhc products and other food and beverages specified in Bhc's authorized menu. Franchisees must operate their franchised business in strict accordance with the procedures set forth in the operations manual or otherwise provided to the franchisee in writing.
To protect the integrity, reputation, and goodwill of the Bhc system and marks, franchisees must comply with the methodology Bhc prescribes in providing Bhc products to customers. Bhc may recommend retail prices for specific Bhc products and other products and services authorized for sale at the franchisee's Bhc restaurant. If Bhc does so, franchisees may not advertise or promote retail prices that are inconsistent with these recommended prices.
To gain a comprehensive understanding of payment terms, a prospective franchisee should ask Bhc about the specific payment policies and procedures detailed in the operations manual. This includes understanding the accepted methods of payment, any potential discounts or promotions that could affect payment timing, and the procedures for handling late or non-payments from customers.
