What This Means (2025 FDD)
According to Bhc's 2025 Franchise Disclosure Document, any formal written notices required to be sent to Bhc Franchise LLC must be sent via registered or certified mail, with postage prepaid. The address to send these notices is 3435 Wilshire Blvd., Suite 460, Los Angeles, CA 90010.
This requirement ensures that Bhc receives important communications from franchisees through a verifiable method. Using registered or certified mail provides proof of delivery and receipt, which can be crucial in legal or contractual matters.
Bhc retains the right to modify its official address for receiving notices. However, they are obligated to inform the landlord of any changes to the notification address. The landlord, in turn, is responsible for notifying both the tenant (franchisee) and Bhc of any changes to the landlord's mailing address. This ensures all parties remain informed and can maintain effective communication.
This clause is part of an addendum, and in the event of a conflict between the terms of a lease and the addendum, the terms of the addendum will take precedence. Similarly, if there is a conflict between notices provided by the tenant and Bhc, Bhc's notices will prevail.
