What This Means (2025 FDD)
According to Bhc's 2025 Franchise Disclosure Document, Bhc has the authority to modify or improve the System from time to time at its sole discretion. The Bhc System includes the brand's trademarks, expertise related to Bhc products, marketing strategies, training programs, and various intellectual properties like materials, artwork, graphics, layouts, slogans, names, titles and text.
Bhc's right to change the System means that franchisees must stay updated with the latest operational standards, marketing techniques, and product offerings. These changes aim to keep the franchise competitive and relevant in the market. Franchisees need to be adaptable and willing to invest in updates to their restaurants, equipment, and technology as required by Bhc.
All modifications and improvements to the System become Bhc's property, which means franchisees do not have ownership rights over these changes. This ensures uniformity and consistency across all Bhc locations, as well as protects the brand's intellectual property. Franchisees should be aware that they must implement these changes to remain compliant with the franchise agreement.
