What This Means (2025 FDD)
According to Bft's 2025 Franchise Disclosure Document, a franchisee must discontinue selling any service or product if Bft, in its discretion, disapproves of it at any time. To maintain consistency and uniformity throughout the Bft system, franchisees are generally required to sell only approved services and products, and to adhere to System Standards.
Bft is authorized to supply franchisees with a list of approved suppliers for fitness equipment and other products or services. This list may change, and franchisees are obligated to purchase only from the approved suppliers specified on the updated list after receiving notification of the change. Bft and its affiliates may be designated as the sole or approved suppliers for certain items and services.
This policy ensures that all Bft studios maintain a uniform image and offer consistent services and products, which is considered essential for the success of the franchise system. Franchisees must keep their studios and fitness equipment clean and well-maintained, and they must be able to provide members with all services and products specified by Bft during business hours.
