What This Means (2025 FDD)
According to Bft's 2025 Franchise Disclosure Document, there are several specific instances where Bft will not charge a training fee to its franchisees. Bft will not charge a training fee for up to five days of additional or refresher training each year. This benefit allows franchisees and their management personnel to stay updated on best practices without incurring additional costs.
Additionally, Bft will not charge a training fee for minor, day-to-day assistance provided remotely via phone, email, fax, or other electronic channels. This support is subject to the availability of Bft's personnel, ensuring franchisees can receive guidance on routine operational matters without incurring extra charges.
Bft also does not charge a training fee for a franchisee's initial Designated Manager to participate in the Designated Manager Training Program. This is particularly beneficial for franchisees who do not plan to be on-site at the studio during normal business hours and need to appoint a manager to oversee daily operations. However, Bft may charge a training fee in connection with training that the franchisee requests Bft provide, or that Bft provides on-site at the franchisee's studio.
