You must purchase the computer system that we specify, including computer hardware, software, the POS System, inventory control systems, and high-speed network connections (collectively, the "Computer System"), as well as the audio-visual equipment comprising the Audio/Visual Package, including speakers, cabling, mounts and other related equipment that we specify. The component parts of the Computer System and Audio/Visual Package must be purchased from Approved Suppliers. What This Means (2025 FDD)

According to Bft's 2025 Franchise Disclosure Document, franchisees must purchase a specified computer system. This system includes computer hardware, software, a POS (Point of Sale) system, inventory control systems, and high-speed network connections. Bft refers to these components collectively as the "Computer System."

Prospective franchisees should note that these items must be purchased from Bft's approved suppliers. Item 11 of the FDD provides a more detailed description of the computer system. Additionally, if Bft requires the use of proprietary software or the purchase of software from a designated vendor, franchisees must sign all necessary software license and maintenance agreements.

This requirement ensures that all Bft studios operate with a standardized and compatible technology infrastructure. While this standardization can streamline operations and support, franchisees should carefully evaluate the costs associated with the computer system and factor them into their overall investment. It is also important to understand the terms of any software licenses and maintenance agreements to anticipate ongoing expenses and obligations.
