What This Means (2025 FDD)

According to Bft's 2025 Franchise Disclosure Document, the franchisee is responsible for all costs and expenses associated with training programs. Bft explicitly states that it will not be responsible for any costs incurred by the franchisee or their personnel while attending any training programs. This includes wages, benefits, and travel-related expenses.

This means that as a Bft franchisee, you must budget for all training-related costs for yourself and your staff. These costs can include travel, accommodation, wages, and any other expenses incurred while attending training programs, such as the Pre-Opening Instructor Training and the Fundamentals Training Program.

Furthermore, the franchisee is responsible for indemnifying Bft against any claims arising from these costs. This underscores the importance of careful financial planning and expense management when it comes to training your staff and yourself within the Bft franchise system. Franchisees should factor in these costs when evaluating the overall investment and operational expenses of the franchise.
