Will Bft provide specifications for the layout and design of the Studio?

According to Bft's 2025 Franchise Disclosure Document, Bft will provide franchisees with specifications for the layout and design of their studio. These specifications will be accessible through the Learning Management System or other means. Sections 6.1 and 6.3 of the Franchise Agreement contain further details regarding the layout and design of the studio.

In addition to layout and design specifications, Bft will also provide a list of components for the Fitness Equipment & Initial FF&E Package, other furnishings, supplies, and signs to be used in the studio. This list, along with a list of Approved Suppliers, will also be available through the Learning Management System or other means. Franchisees are responsible for all costs associated with locating, obtaining, and developing a premises for their studio, as well as constructing, equipping, remodeling, and/or building out the premises in accordance with Bft's System Standards.

If a franchisee enters into a Multi-Unit Agreement, Bft will designate the Development Area and review and approve the premises proposed for each studio location within that area. Bft may also provide franchisees with current written site selection guidelines and contact information for local real estate brokers familiar with Bft's site selection criteria. However, Bft does not generally own the premises used by franchisees for their studios.

Prospective franchisees should carefully review Sections 6.1, 6.3, and 6.5 of the Franchise Agreement, as well as the Learning Management System, to fully understand Bft's requirements and recommendations for studio layout, design, and equipment.
