What This Means (2025 FDD)

According to Bft's 2025 Franchise Disclosure Document, Bft retains the right to control the brand's social media presence. Specifically, Bft reserves the right to "occupy" any social media websites or pages and act as the sole provider of information regarding the studio on those platforms. This could include system-wide pages on platforms like Facebook.

This provision means that while franchisees can engage in social media marketing for their individual studios, Bft has the authority to take over those pages if it deems necessary. This is likely to ensure brand consistency and control the messaging around the Bft brand.

For a prospective franchisee, this highlights the importance of adhering to Bft's social media guidelines and maintaining open communication with the franchisor regarding online marketing efforts. Franchisees must promptly modify or remove any online communication pertaining to the studio at Bft's request if it does not comply with the franchise agreement or the Learning Management System.
