What This Means (2025 FDD)

According to Bft's 2025 Franchise Disclosure Document, Bft may modify the required insurance coverages or policies. Bft will notify franchisees of these changes via the Learning Management System or otherwise in writing. Franchisees will receive thirty days' written notice before the changes take effect. However, if Bft determines there is a health/safety or infringement-related issue, they may provide a shorter notice period.

Bft requires franchisees to obtain and maintain specific insurance coverages at their own expense. These coverages include Commercial General Liability, Automobile Liability, Workers Compensation, Property insurance, and Employment Practices Liability. The specifications and standards for these coverages may vary based on the size of the studio or what is customary for businesses in the area.

This policy ensures that Bft franchisees are adequately insured, protecting both the franchisee and the Bft brand from potential liabilities. Franchisees should stay informed about any changes communicated through the Learning Management System to maintain compliance and avoid any disruptions to their business operations.
