What This Means (2025 FDD)
According to Bft's 2025 Franchise Disclosure Document, franchisees must meet a Minimum Monthly Gross Sales Quota, which may be waived by Bft due to unique market conditions. Franchisees must achieve and maintain a trailing 12-month average monthly Gross Sales of $15,000 by the first anniversary of the Studio's Soft Opening. By the second anniversary of the Studio's Soft Opening, and each successive anniversary, franchisees must achieve and maintain a trailing 12-month average monthly Gross Sales of $20,000.
If a Bft franchisee fails to meet the Minimum Monthly Gross Sales Quota at any time during the Term of the agreement, Bft has the discretion to require the franchisee to participate in a mandatory corrective training program. The franchisee is responsible for the expenses associated with this training and must implement any temporary or permanent corrective measures that Bft deems necessary to address the unmet Performance Standards.
This quota is a critical performance standard, and Bft emphasizes that it would not have entered into the franchise agreement if it anticipated the franchisee would not meet these standards. This highlights the importance of thorough market research and business planning before investing in a Bft franchise. Prospective franchisees should carefully consider their ability to meet these sales targets within the specified timeframes.
