What is the 'Head Coaching Fee' for Bft?

In the event Franchisee wishes to have one (1) of the Studio's Authorized Instructors provide the Pre-Opening Instructor Training at the Studio to prospective instructors as part of the Approved Services, then that Authorized Instructor must attend and complete the "Head Coach" course provided by Franchisor's head coach designed to provide the Authorized Instructor with additional instruction necessary for that individual to become a head coach that can provide the Pre-Opening Instructor Training (each, a "Head Coach").
Franchisor is not obligated to approve any Franchisee request to send a given Authorized Instructor to Head Coaching, and Franchisee must: (i) not be in default of any provision of this Agreement as a condition to Franchisor's approval of such a request; and (ii) pay Franchisor its thencurrent Training Fee in connection with any Head Coaching provided (the "Head Coaching Fee").

According to Bft's 2025 Franchise Disclosure Document, if a franchisee wants one of their Authorized Instructors to provide Pre-Opening Instructor Training at the studio, that instructor must complete the "Head Coach" course provided by Bft's head coach. To do so, the franchisee must pay Bft its then-current Training Fee in connection with any Head Coaching provided; this fee is referred to as the "Head Coaching Fee."
However, Bft is not obligated to approve any franchisee's request to send an Authorized Instructor to Head Coaching. As a condition to Bft's approval of such a request, the franchisee must not be in default of any provision of the Franchise Agreement.
This means that the cost of the Head Coaching Fee is not a fixed amount but rather the "then-current Training Fee" at the time the training is requested. A prospective franchisee should inquire about the current amount of this fee to factor it into their potential costs.
