What This Means (2025 FDD)
According to Bft's 2025 Franchise Disclosure Document, franchisees must obtain written approval from Bft for any co-branding of the Marks, or advertising or use of the Marks to endorse or support other organizations, brands, products or services, in advance. Bft retains the right to revoke its approval of any advertising materials at any time and at its sole discretion.
Bft franchisees are required to participate in all advertising and sales promotion programs that Bft may develop to promote and enhance the collective success of the System. Franchisees are also obligated to adhere to the pricing established by Bft, although Bft may consent to changes in local pricing to accommodate unique local conditions, competition, or expenses, or to comply with changes in state or federal anti-trust laws.
Bft may implement an advertising policy that prohibits franchisees from advertising prices for products or services that differ from Bft's suggested retail price. However, franchisees are generally not prohibited from selling products or services above or below the suggested retail price unless Bft imposes a maximum or minimum price for such items. This allows Bft to maintain brand consistency while providing some flexibility for franchisees to respond to local market conditions.
