What This Means (2025 FDD)

According to Bft's 2025 Franchise Disclosure Document, franchisees must adhere to specific guidelines to maintain uniformity within the franchise system. Bft franchisees are required to exclusively sell and offer for sale 'Approved Services' and 'Approved Products'. Furthermore, they must sell all Approved Services and Approved Products mandated by Bft. Franchisees must not deviate from the System Standards, ensuring a consistent brand experience across all locations.

Bft retains the authority to disapprove any services or products that franchisees offer, and franchisees must discontinue selling any such disapproved items. Bft will provide franchisees with a list of approved suppliers from which they must purchase fitness equipment and other necessary products or services. This list may be updated periodically, and franchisees are obligated to adhere to the revised list. Bft and its affiliates may be designated as the sole or preferred suppliers for certain items and services.

To ensure quality and consistency, Bft franchisees must maintain their studios and fitness equipment in a clean and well-maintained condition. All equipment must be operational during business hours, and franchisees must be prepared to provide members with all services and products specified by Bft. These requirements are designed to uphold a uniform image and standard of service across the Bft franchise system, which Bft considers essential for the success of the franchise.
