What This Means (2025 FDD)

According to Bft's 2025 Franchise Disclosure Document, franchisees must adhere to the System Standards set by Bft, which are crucial for maintaining consistent operating standards and protecting the brand's reputation. These standards are detailed in the Learning Management System and other communications from Bft. Franchisees acknowledge that every aspect of their studio's appearance and operation is important for uniformity and customer satisfaction.

Bft retains the right to revise these System Standards periodically, including updates to the Learning Management System through written notices. Franchisees are obligated to comply with any new or changed standards upon notification from Bft. This includes modernizing or remodeling the studio to conform to the current System Standards, potentially involving significant capital expenditures. Bft also has the right to inspect the studio at any reasonable time to ensure compliance with the agreement and System Standards.

This requirement ensures that all Bft studios maintain a consistent brand image and service quality. For a prospective franchisee, this means being prepared to adapt to changes in standards and invest in updates or remodels as required by Bft. It is important to stay informed of any changes communicated through the Learning Management System and other official channels to avoid non-compliance and potential penalties.
