What This Means (2025 FDD)

According to Bft's 2025 Franchise Disclosure Document, franchisees are required to pay a Technology Fee for the technology services provided as part of the Bft system. This fee is typically $715 per month, commencing at the Studio's Soft Opening. However, franchisees will begin paying a reduced Technology Fee of $250 per month upon the commencement of their Pre-Sales Phase.

The Pre-Sales Phase typically begins approximately five months before the Studio's Soft Opening. Therefore, Bft estimates that a franchisee's Technology Fee payments during those five months will total $1,250. This reduced fee helps offset some initial costs while the franchisee focuses on pre-selling memberships and promoting the studio before its official opening.

It is important to note that the Technology Fee, whether the standard $715 or the reduced $250, is payable in a lump sum, uniformly imposed, and non-refundable under any circumstances. This means that franchisees must budget for this expense and understand that these payments are not refundable, regardless of any unforeseen circumstances.
