What This Means (2025 FDD)
According to Bft's 2025 Franchise Disclosure Document, during Discretionary On-Site Assistance, the franchisee (or their Operating Principal) and all other management personnel must be in attendance at the Bft studio. This on-site assistance, provided at Bft's discretion, typically lasts one to two days and aims to support the studio's opening and initial operations. It may also include additional training related to the Initial Training Program or Pre-Opening Instructor Training.
This requirement ensures that key individuals involved in the studio's management are present to receive guidance and training from Bft representatives during the critical soft opening phase. By having the franchisee, operating principal, and management personnel present, Bft aims to facilitate a smooth launch and ensure adherence to the brand's operational standards.
For a prospective franchisee, this means being prepared to dedicate time for themselves and their management team to be present at the studio during the Discretionary On-Site Assistance. This may involve coordinating schedules and ensuring adequate staffing to cover other responsibilities during this period. Understanding the importance of this on-site support can contribute to a successful studio launch and ongoing operations.
