What This Means (2025 FDD)
According to Bft's 2025 Franchise Disclosure Document, a Developer must sign and deliver the first Franchise Agreement and related documents to Bft simultaneously with the execution of the Multi-Unit Agreement. This agreement represents the first franchise that the Developer is obligated to acquire under the Multi-Unit Agreement.
This requirement means that the Developer commits to opening their first Bft studio at the same time they agree to the broader development schedule outlined in the Multi-Unit Agreement. This simultaneous execution ensures that the Developer is immediately committed to opening and operating a Bft studio according to the terms of the Franchise Agreement.
This aspect of the agreement is crucial for prospective Bft Developers to understand, as it signifies an immediate obligation to begin operating a studio. It is not a situation where the developer has a grace period or can delay the initial franchise while securing locations or financing. The Developer must be prepared to proceed with the opening of their first Bft studio upon signing the Multi-Unit Agreement.
